No one can deny that Elon Musk is among the most interesting people in today’s world. Besides being one of the wealthiest individuals, Musk is famous for their unique view of many things, as well as for his progressive thinking. With that said, he is also well-known for expressing his opinion about a variety of topics, and he often gets into conflicts with others.
Speaking of conflicts, www.2shorte.com reported that there might be an upcoming fight between Elon Musk and Nicolás Maduro, the current president of Venezuela. The two have been in a conflict for some time now, but things became exceptionally “heated” following Maduro’s win in the elections a few weeks ago.
Whether such a fight will take place in the future is yet to be seen, but one thing is certain – fans are eager to see what’s going to happen. Musk has been very active on X in the last couple of days, and it seems like Maduro is ready for the clash. With that said, let’s dive into everything we know so far.
Musk vs Maduro – The Beef
These two were never friends, but things became heated in the last couple of weeks. Elon Musk has been using his own platform Twitter (X), to criticize Maduro. He often calls him a dictator, posts memes and does all sorts of other things. In other words, it’s safe to say that Musk is not a fan of Maduro.
Speaking of not being a fan, it seems like Nicolás Maduro does not like Musk either. Venezuela’s president is accusing the billionaire of interfering in his country’s elections. What’s more, he even says that Musk is responsible for all of the “chaos, lies, and violence” that took place in Venezuela.
Maduro refers to the attacks against the country’s electoral council. A lot of people (including Musk) believe that Venezuela’s president had an impact on the final voting and are not happy with the results.
Considering Venezuela and the US are not on good terms, it’s no surprise that Maduro also blames the country. He also says that Musk is leading the “offensive” against him and that he wants to control the world. Maduro even mentions that Musk already controls Argentina, referring to the billionaire’s friendship with Javier Milei, the country’s president.
Elon Musk’s Stance on Venezuela & Maduro
As mentioned, Maduro’s accusations are based on Musk’s stance on the situation in Venezuela. He and many others believe that Musk supports the demonstrations that took place in the country. In fact, Musk even said that Maduro’s opponent – Edmundo Urrutia – was the winner of the elections and called people to protest against the results.
Speaking of the elections, they took place on July 28, and Nicolás Maduro won them. According to the stats, he earned 51.2% of votes versus 44% for his opponent.
Shortly after the election was over, Musk started posting all sorts of things on Twitter about him. He shared videos where people in Venezuela tear down Maduro’s posters. Musk also used all kinds of words to describe Venezuela’s current president, including calling him a clown.
Besides all of that, the US government is also not happy with what happened in South America. According to some news, the country’s Secretary of State issued a statement saying that Edmundo Gonzales Urrutia was the actual winner of the elections.
Anthony Blinknen even said that Maduro lacks credibility and is deeply flawed. This is another reason why Maduro criticizes the US and Musk, as the latter is based there.
Nicolás Maduro vs Elon Musk – The Fight
It’s worth mentioning that this isn’t Elon Musk’s first involvement in a “celebrity fight”. One year ago, the world learned that there could be an Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg battle, but it has yet to take place. Interestingly, Musk brought that up as soon as the “discussions” for his fight against Maduro appeared.
It all started when Maduro was talking about how Musk was already controlling Argentina. Following this statement, he asked Musk if the latter wanted to fight and said that he was not afraid.
Needless to say, this statement shocked the internet, and Elon Musk was quick to respond, saying that he accepted the challenge. The billionaire took things one step further and even said that if he won, Maduro would have to resign as the president of Venezuela. If he would lose, however, Maduro would get free travel to Mars.
We saw tons of other posts regarding the Musk vs Maduro fight in the next couple of days, Twitter’s owner shared a video where, supposedly, Venezuela’s president instructs his security forces to prevent Musk from entering (this turned out to be false because the video was about something else). What’s interesting is that Musk said, “I’m coming for you Maduro! I will carry you to Gitmo with a donkey”, fueling the rumors for the upcoming fight.
Musk also retweeted loads of posts about the fact that election’s results were rigged. He also posted things about protests, wanted letters, and more. All of this added hype to the potential Musk vs Maduro fight.
Musk vs Maduro – Who Would Win?
Although this fight is most likely not going to happen, it’s interesting to explore the two “athletes”. According to Elon Musk, “Maduro is a big guy” and “probably knows how to fight”. What’s interesting is that Musk also included Zuckerberg in his tweet by saying that “he is a little fella, so that would be a short fight lol”.
At the time of writing, Elon Musk is 53 years old, whereas Maudro is 61, meaning Elon definitely has an advantage. However, Nicolas Maduro has a lot more experience and has been involved in many tricky situations over the years. Therefore, we wouldn’t be surprised if he was more than prepared for this fight.
The proposal from Maduro and the acceptance from Musk definitely raised questions about the upcoming fight. If it really happens, this will probably be the “fight of the century”. We also expect bookies to offer load of markets and good odds, as well as at least a couple of bonuses.
Even if the Musk vs Maduro fight does not happen, these two people captured the world’s attention. We are yet to see what’s next, so make sure to follow us for more information.
