Even though the summer 2024 transfer window was not that interesting in terms of transfers because there weren’t that many big moves, some clubs made interesting changes. Needless to say, most football transfers are costly, so it’s no surprise some clubs spend a lot of money.

Speaking of spending, the stats at www.2shorte.com reveal that Chelsea FC leads the chart because it spent €238.50M in the 2024 summer transfer window. With a total of 11 arrivals and 11 departures, the English Club is also among the leaders in this department. Following all the changes, Chelsea’s overall balance is -€40.50M.

“Everyone who follows the English Premier League will not be surprised by Chlease’s results. The Blues have been struggling for a while now and wanted to make big changes so they could compete for the title once again. It seems like the transfers were worth it (for now) because Chelsea is doing fairly well in the EPL”, said Kristiyan, Nostrabet’s leading football expert.

Football clubs are slowly getting ready to spend money once again with a little over a month until the beginning of the winter transfer window. Chelsea may be leading the chart as of now, but other clubs are also worth mentioning. Let’s check them out.
